Overview
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is an internationally accredited language examination that is offered in five different levels, designed to measure a person’s Japanese-language skills.

Eligibility
Anyone may register for the JLPT; however, in principle, applicants should be non-native speakers of Japanese.

Test Date: Sunday, 12月 6, 2015

Test Sites: The JLPT will be held in 15 cities across the Unites States. For more information about test sites, please visit www.aatj.org/jlpt-us.

Registration Period: 8月 24 — 9月 25, 2015.
Online registration will open at 9:00 AM on August 24, and close at 9:00 PM on September 25, 2015 (Eastern Time). Paper applications must ARRIVE at the AATJ office by the deadline (NO postmarks, faxes, or emails).
Note: Late registration is NOT offered.

How to Register
Online Registration: A link will be available on the first day of registration so interested individuals can apply for the test using the online system. You will need a credit card to pay the registration fees.
Mail-In Registration: A PDF application booklet with a fillable form will be available by the first day of registration for those who want to apply for the test by mail. You will need to send payment in the form of a check or money order.

Test Results
Test results will be release in early March 2016. All examinees who participate in the exam will receive a Score Report via USPS First Class mail. Examinees who pass the exam will also receive a Certificate of Proficiency along with their Score Report.
