Fundraising Campaign

“During the last month of my program in Japan I’m going to do the most I can, see as much as I’m able to, and continue making memories that will last a lifetime.” —Maly Thao, 2015 Mondale Scholarship recipient

“I’m so thankful for having had this opportunity, and I can’t thank JASM and the sponsors enough for helping provide this influential event every year.” — Taylor Nelson, 2015 J-Quiz winner

JASM needs your help!

It has been very exciting for the Japan America Society of Minnesota. The organization has been doing our best to provide opportunities to Minnesota to connect with Japan for the past 40 years.

We have many wonderful events, such as J-Quiz in which 95 students from 12 schools compete to go to Washington D.C. In June we have a the Harukaze concert at Sundin Hall on Hamline University’s campus. We have the exciting Lantern Lighting Festival at Como Zoo inAugust. Then we welcome the new year with 新年会 bringing the sights, tastes, and sounds of Japanese New Year.

You can help, and continue to make these JASM events possible.

JASM embarked on a major fundraising initiative to build a future that will expand the programs of the Society, reach new audiences, and contribute to the future of the U.S. – Japan relationship building in Minnesota. For JASM to thrive more in the future, we need your help. Please consider making a donation to JASM. You can contact us by phone at 612-627-9357 or make your donation online anytime.

How will your donation to JASM be used?

Your donation will help JASM to increase the number of students who participate in the Mondale Scholarship Program. Along with J-Quiz and provide scholarships. JASM can expand its programming and activities through additional social networking activities with more funds. Your donation in any amount will help JASM reach our overall goal and make a difference in the community.

Thank you for helping JASM to grow and continue to be a force in building U.S.-Japan relationships of many kinds in Minnesota.
