For the past six years, the Minnesota Nihonjinkai have been volunteering as a group to support Japanese who live in Minnesota and make connections with people who love Japanese culture.

The main activities they have include delivering Obento to elders who request it, visiting elder Japanese in nursing homes, publishing the “Minnesota Nihonjinkai Dayori” newsletter, and more.

Every second Monday of the month, there is also a group meeting followed by a Potluck lunch party. Each brings some homemade food (mostly Japanese food).

Every fourth Sunday of the month, there is an afternoon meeting and a craft party.

Japanese and anyone else interested in Japanese culture is welcome to join this group.
